Is 100.000 euro enough to buy a decent property in Algarve Portugal?
Let me be clear from the start: Properties in Portugal as not as cheap as you would think! Especially not in the Algarve area, that after Cascais, near Lisbon, is the most expensive area in Portugal to buy a property.
So this means that 100.000 euro is a very small budget for buying property in Algarve Portugal. It won’t buy you luxury, or a property with ocean front. If you want your money to go a long way another areas in Portugal are more suited for this. For example the Silver Coast or the Center Portugal.
You just have to take into consideration that not only properties are expensive in Algarve, but the cost of life as a whole is much higher than in the rest of the country.
But returning to the price of property in Algarve Portugal, even with a small budget you can find little gems. I put together a video with the most cute properties you can find in this budget.
